Current beta: A TRU3 account is optional. TRU3 does not require a bank connection, Social Security number, crypto seed phrase, or private key.
Guest use and optional accounts
Guests can use TRU3 without creating an account. Guest calculator information is stored in that browser's local storage when available. If you choose to create an account, our identity provider processes your email address and login verification, and TRU3 stores your calculator profile on its hosted database so you can access it across devices.
Signing in does not automatically replace different calculator information found on your device or in your account. TRU3 asks you which copy to use.
Information used by the calculator
You may enter job, pay, tax-profile, location, and household-bill information to generate an estimate. Calculator inputs may be sent to TRU3's calculation endpoint so the requested result can be returned.
Please do not enter Social Security numbers, bank credentials, crypto wallet seed phrases, private keys, or other information the calculator does not request.
Read-only crypto lookups
If you use the crypto portfolio tool, TRU3 sends the public wallet address and selected blockchain networks to data providers so they can return public token balances, NFT ownership, listings, sales, and offers. A lookup does not connect to the wallet and cannot move assets.
Wallet addresses are not saved to your TRU3 profile by default. Because a public address can reveal an onchain history and may become linked to your identity, only look up addresses you are authorized to use.
Technical information
Our hosting and security providers may process standard technical records such as IP address, browser type, device information, timestamps, requested pages, and error logs. We use this information to operate, protect, and improve the service.
How information is shared
We do not sell personal information. Information may be processed by service providers that host, secure, or support TRU3. If a commercial tax engine is activated, relevant calculation details may be sent to that provider to return a result. Crypto lookups may be sent to blockchain and marketplace data providers. We may also disclose information when required by law or necessary to protect the service and its users.
Retention and security
Guest information remains in the browser until you clear it or the browser removes it. Account profiles are retained while the account is active and as reasonably needed for operations, security, legal obligations, and product improvement. You may request deletion at support@tru3app.com. No online service can promise absolute security, but we use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information processed.
International use and children
TRU3 may be accessed from different countries, so information may be processed where our providers operate. TRU3 is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 18.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as TRU3 adds wallet connections, paid plans, or other features. Material changes will be reflected by a new effective date. Questions can be sent to support@tru3app.com.
